Alien Tribe

Red Sea Trance Records, the record label of DJ and global dance promoter Pete Farmer, has just signed Alien Tribe to promote Lia’s dance songs. Based in Cyprus, Pete’s empire includes a global dance radio station and connections with DJ’s and clubs around the world. The first EP soon to be released is titled “In The Unknown” and features three songs from Alien Tribe’s “We Are Here” album: Crazy Love, Who Am I Now? (Without The Glow), and Alone In The Unknown.  Here is what Pete had to say about the release:

Lia has just completed two trance songs that are now being mastered. These will be released by Red Sea Trance Records as soon as they are available.  Lately, Lia has really got the dance bug and seems to be creating a lot of wonderful new dance music that still captures the essence of Alien Tribe’s complex, emotional signature sound.

Lia Shapiro of Alien Tribe and Geoff Keogh of ElectroCelt are now collaborating on a new song together. Geoff called the collaboration “California meets Ireland meets Australia” on his Facebook Page. Alien Tribe and ElectroCelt are both internationally recognized electronic music artists for their fresh and unique styles. This will definitely be something to look forward to. (more…)

Lia Shapiro, the creator of Alien Tribe, spent over five years writing, recording, engineering and mixing her songs. As a producer, she set very high standards for the final mix of the “We Are Here” album often remixing each song using her unique “micro mixing” approach several times until everything was just right. That left one final step to turn those songs into broadcast quality music…mastering.  For that step, she turned to veteran music producer Dan Farrow. (more…)
